Ceyda Erten is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science, focusing on international relations. Her empirical work investigates the intersection of climate change and forced migration through studying actors involved in the (non-)making of "climate refugees." Ceyda is also interested in political sociology, comparative politics, and political theory. She holds a B.Sc. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
